Hello everyone! We’re back one more Friday to let you know the latest BMX The Game development news produced here at Barspin Studios. This week we are showing the current state of Debugging Animation Tool and La Ultima Street.

La Ultima Street

This weekend Barspin Studios will sponsor the BMX event in Barcelona ‘The Last Street 2016′ thanks to 360BS. The event will be helded all Saturday and it will feature a tour with some of the best spots in the city. We will be there all day and we will raffle some merchandising and some copies of the game. In addition, we have already tuned our BMXs. If you have the opportunity to attend, do not hesitate to say hello.

 Debugging Animation Tool

The debug animation is a tool that allow us to check the postures of the character. It is an internal tool to check and verify all movements, gestures, weights and swingings of the character in real time. Let us show you this through a gif down below.

Latest news: first person camera!

Hello everyone! We’re back one more Friday to let you know the latest BMX The Game development news produced here at Barspin Studios. This week we are showing the current state of first person camera through a new video.

As we explained last Friday, we remain focused on stability and impact absorption. This week we have ben also working on the first person camera and we want to show you how you this is progressing. The physics work allows everything to be much smoother, the experience is much more comfortable and, although we still have adjustments and details to polish, we are happy with the result so far.

Hello everyone! We’re back one more Friday to let you know the latest BMX The Game development news produced here at Barspin Studios. This week we are showing the current state of physics through a new video.

We are very happy with the progress of the new physics which you can see in the video that we leave down below. We have been working hard on stability, impact absorption as well as we’ve been improving the experience to be as real as possible. Remember that we are still adjusting and setting the details, such as rotation degrees, speeds, etc., but the hardest part is already finished.

Latest news: showing some new animations!

Hello everyone! We’re back one more Friday to let you know the latest BMX The Game development news produced here at Barspin Studios. This week we are showing some new animations.

As we explained last week, a new member has joined the team to support the animation part. On Wednesday we posted a small advance of the progress of new animations (the character running without the bike) on our social networks. Today we want to show you two new animations of the character picking the bmx up. In the first animation you can see the character picking the bike up from the side and carrying it.

The second one is almost the same action, but this time the character picks the bike up from the front. The purpose of making variations of the same action is to give much more realism to the game. You know that realism is the most important thing for us and that is why we are putting so much effort into this kind of detail.

 That is all for this week. We keep working at the same time on many facets, as you can imagine, especially on the physics, which you will be able to test very soon as well as the new cameras. We are very focused on the final part of the beta development that you expect so much. Happy weekend!

Hello everyone! We’re back one more Friday to let you know the latest BMX The Game development news produced here at Barspin Studios. This week we are talking about animations and La Poma, the bikepark located in Barcelona.

Animations

This week a new member has joined the team to support the animations part. We are working a lot on new and more perfected tricks, as well as the whole system without the bike that is coming back to the game with the beta. From now on the character can get off the bike, walk freely, jump … and you can also grab other bikes. In the coming weeks we will show you some of these new animations.

Do you remember we were working on a real bike park located in Barcelona? Our friends from La Poma Bikepark in Barcelona are getting ready for its ninth Happy Ride Weekend on 18th- 20th November. Our best wishes to all the staff! If anyone of you is attending, please, share with us any picture or video!
